For the first time patient, he / she will require:
Consultation:
Consultation maybe general health consultation or specialist health consultation.
Time: between 30 (general consultation) - 45 minutes (specialist consultation) depending on nature and complexity of the health condition and also the person's health history.
Cost: $40 for a standard general consultation ; $60-$80 for a standard specialist consultation ( 30-45 min)
Acupuncture treatment: (optional)
You may decide to have acupuncture treatment on the same day after the consultation (or you may decide to come back for the treatment at another day.)
if you like to have acupuncture treatment after the consultation, please let us know when you make the booking.
Cost: standard acupuncture treatment $70 (for 40 minutes)
specialist acupuncture treatment (extensive) for health conditions in the specialty fields. $95 (for 50-60 minutes)
Chinese herbal treatment (individualised)(optional)
Tenercy Ho does not normally prescribe Chinese herbal treatment in conjunction with acupuncture for the first time patient, as she normally likes to see how the patient responded to acupuncture treatment. Chinese herbal treatment may be suggested at a later time if she feels the patient may benefit additionally from it.
However, Chinese herbal treatment may be suggested to you if,
1. you are living abroad or interstate.
2. Chinese herbal treatment is considered a better treatment modality than acupuncture for your health condition, eg, acne.
Cost: trial dose (40g) $25
Chinese herbal treatment is charged by gram. 60g for $40, or 80g for $50.
Time: How long would it take for the first
time?
For consultation alone: initial consultation
can take upto 1 hour.
For consultation + acupuncture:
General health consultation & acupuncture treatment: 1 1/2 hours
specialist Consultation & Acupuncture treatment extensive; 2 hours.
